- A visual double act by Stina Nyberg, Ingela Ihrman, and Dansväxthuset.

During the festival Dance in the November Darkness , Skellefteå Art Hall and the D ance & Ballet Association invite you to a unique program featuring contemporary art, performing arts, and young local dancers. 60 minutes to open your mind to.

What is Tvåtakt?
Tvåtakt is a duet in two acts by and with Ingela Ihrman and Stina Nyberg, previously shown at Hägerstensåsen's community center in Stockholm and Folkessons Lada on Öland. The performance navigates the space between performance, sculpture, and dance, where the starting point is the absurd and poetic metaphors that arise when two bodies interact. The work focuses on rhythms and cares – manifested through costumes for two by Ingela Ihrman.

Program
14.00: Tvåtakt - Guest performance by Ingela Ihrman and Stina Nyberg (approx. 40 min).

Production & Participants

Ingela Ihrman (artist)
Ingela Ihrman is an internationally recognized Swedish artist, known for her large-scale sculptures inspired by flora and fauna. Her artistic practice is based on close collaboration with others, and she often creates works that take the form of sculptural costumes that she steps into herself. With humor, warmth, and bodily presence, she explores what it means to be alive. Ihrman has exhibited worldwide, including at the Venice Biennale, Bonniers Konsthall, and is currently featured at Skellefteå Art Hall.

Stina Nyberg (choreographer & dancer)
Stina Nyberg is a leading choreographer and dancer from Örnsköldsvik, based in Stockholm. Her artistic practice is based on close collaboration with others, and she creates choreographies that often investigate the body's relationship to power, science, history, and social structures. Nyberg works internationally, moving between large stages and site-specific performances.
