Urkraft Film Festival

We want to make it possible for people to watch films that explore important issues!

This year's theme is Friendship & Meeting Places, which will be reflected in the films we screen. As in previous years, the programme offers a diverse selection, ranging from family films to more niche short films, ensuring there is something for different audiences and interests. Urkraft Film Festival aims to be as accessible as possible, which is why all screenings are free of charge, but advance booking is required.

On Friday, foley artist and sound designer Ulf Olauson, one of the most respected names in the industry, will visit the festival to lead a seminar on film sound. He will demonstrate and discuss how he created the sound design for The Neighbour Feud (Grannfejden), which will also be screened immediately after the seminar.

Director's Talk: Clara Bodén will be present following the screening of Allmänfarlig ödeläggelse to talk about the film and answer questions.

Paulina Blog, director of the short films Block/Unblock (Blockera/Avblockera) and A Moment You Will Remember (En stund som du kommer att minnas), will be on site after the screenings to answer questions and discuss her work.

Swedish sneak preview of A Sad Beautiful World by Cyril Aris. The film received the Audience Award at the Venice Film Festival and the Aurora Award at the Tromsø International Film Festival.
