Valter Nilsson

Valter Nilsson is the breakout phenomenon who, in just a few months, went from small club gigs to selling out 12,000 tickets for his summer show at Bananpiren. With his soulful rock’n’roll, everyday storytelling and strong social awareness, he has quickly become one of Sweden’s most talked‑about new voices.

On 27 March 2026, he releases his highly anticipated album Högsbo Riviera, where Valter and producer Johan Weber refine their sound and expand the arrangements with brass and strings. The result is an album that moves between triumph and tenderness. Confident, grand, and yet disarmingly vulnerable. The first taste came with the reality‑based sing‑along favourite Lukas, Dennis & farsan.

Valter’s audience is growing at record speed. In recent months he has lined up sold‑out shows: triple nights at Nefertiti, Pustervik, a packed evening at Fasching, and a celebrated performance on Musikhjälpen. He has also been awarded Nöjesguiden’s Göteborgspris, and all signs point to this being only the beginning.

This October, Valter Nilsson comes to Sara kulturhus, ready to welcome the audience into the warm, inclusive atmosphere that has become his hallmark. Expect an evening filled with energy, presence, and songs that have already become fan favourites, alongside new material from Högsbo Riviera.

Don’t miss the chance to experience one of Sweden’s most exciting artists live at Sara kulturhus.
