Visit Skellefteå is Hiring: Project Manager for International Tourism
Visit Skellefteå is now looking for an experienced business developer and project manager within international tourism. You have experience working with international tour operators, travel agents, and international press. You also have strong knowledge in sustainability and digitalization, and enjoy coaching small and medium-sized businesses in their development journey.
You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English; additional languages are a plus. As a project manager, you are used to planning, executing, and following up on projects and coordinating various efforts. You work independently and take full responsibility for development, results, and reporting. You are also experienced in managing budgets and driving processes toward set goals.
This position focuses on the leisure travel segment and international markets. You will be part of the cross-border initiative Bothnian Coastal Route, where we collaborate with other destinations around the Gulf of Bothnia to develop and market the coastal region to the travel trade.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting January 1, 2026. The position is based in Skellefteå and includes significant travel to trade shows, sales calls, and project meetings.
