Detours out to sea, many nice villages, and forest roads you will find on the black trail. Mountain biking is recommended.
Blacke /Högfjärden - part of medieval sea roads
Passes the villages Gammelbyn, Böle, Blacke, Fjälbyn, Kyan and Gärde. The section on the east side of Högfjärden follows a forest road that has been covered with coarse gravel /stone. Mountain biking is recommended. The road from the bridge in Gärde to Lövånger can be difficult to cycle. Another road goes just under 1 kilometer along the E4 to Lövånger.
Tips on detours
1.Knektplatsen - Lövånger's old bathing place.
2. Kallviken Harbor - Was a shipping port anyway until the Second World War for Burträsk and Lövånger.
3. Tultret - Sea mark high up on a mountain.
Rotesands Badplats - With a nice beach.
5. Ridhus in Fjälbyn - A nice facility. Has a summer café (note! Check the opening hours)
Around Lövånger you will find six cycle paths of different lengths and with many great experiences after
the road. Combine the cycling experience with food and accommodation at Lövångergården and Lövånger Kyrkstad.
