Experience art and architecture in Boliden

During the period 1 May to 11 August, you can find out more about the artists Pär Andersson, Sture Meijer, Jesper Waldersten and Knutte Wester who made one-percent sculptures in Boliden. A selection from Skellefteå municipality's art collection with works by these four artists will also be added to the exhibitions.

In addition to the public art, an exhibition is also presented on the entrance floor of Folkets Hus about the architecture in Boliden and facts about the architects Peter Celsing, Gunnar Gräslund, Tage William Olsson and John Åkerlund who set the tone for Boliden.

Activities that take place in Boliden include that the 100 year group in Boliden offers architecture walks that will take place on June 2 and if you want to go on your own at another time, Skellefteå Konsthall has produced a map guide where houses and designs are marked with factual texts.

The town center investment in Boliden is a collaboration between Skellefteå Konsthall, Folkets Hus in Boliden, Boliden church and architect Enar Nordvik.
