Café Lighthouse
Lövånger, Skellefteå
We serve hot and cold meals, sandwiches, ice cream and homemade fika.
The café business is conducted in the charming four-master's residence at the top of Bjuröklubbsberget. You park the car with an advantage where the asphalt road ends to get a few minutes lovely walks past the marina. There is also the possibility to drive a car up to the café if necessary.
From the cafe then the view ramp takes you smoothly up to the lighthouse and the mile-wide adorable view of the Gulf of Bothnia. Toilets adapted for visitors with disabilities.
We offer a sustainable dining experience
We use local ingredients and products from, among others, Kåge Tunnbrödsbageri, Korvverkstan, Alterhedens marmeladeri, Ulricebergs gård, Hermanssons bageri, Järnvtjärn utegrisar, Svedjan Ost, Kalvträsk ost, Glommersbär, etc. All our coffee is Fair Trade, we offer organic tea, as well as organic drinks including organic soft drinks. We only use meat from Sweden. We’re replacing our disposable items with more sustainable alternatives and we’re working to reduce food waste. You will find our menu in more languages than Swedish. We can offer you both vegan and vegetarian options. We want to use local food producers as far as possible, supplement with Swedish / organic / Fair Trade, sort waste, avoid plastic items, use degradable disposable items, use eco-labeled cleaning products and eco-labeled laundries.
