A few kilometers southwest of central Skellefteå is the Falkträskbadet, which is a lake. The bathing area is very popular during the hot days of summer and there is also a bathing jetty that is wheelchair accessible and persons with reduced vision. Adjacent to the car park are changing rooms, an accessibility-adapted water toilet and four water toilets that are kept open during the bathing season. Along the bathing area there is also an accessibility adapted windshield and barbecue area, benches and tables as well as a kiosk which is open seasonally .
