Summer swimming in Skellefteå

Skellefteå

One thing is for sure if you are in Skellefteå this summer you won’t run out of swimming spots when you need to cool off. How about 1,500 lakes, five rivers, a 300-kilometre coastline and several temperate outdoor baths? The longest sandy beach can be found at Bjuröklubb. It is called Storsand and there you can run almost for forever

Byske havsbad
A classic amongst beach bums and sun-worshippers. A long, lovely, sandy beach, a fun playground and just next door to one of Swedish Lapland’s five-star campsites. This means that you will find everything you need here in terms of food, beverages and activities — and also, temperate outdoor pools.
