Byske Boat Club's home harbor, with around 15 guest moorings, is well protected from most winds and has a good depth suitable even for sailboats. The harbor is located about 5 km from Byske, and you can easily reach the town to stock up using the club’s loaner bikes. In the old harbor warehouse, you’ll find Furuögrund’s harbor café, known for its delicious shrimp sandwiches and treats that are best enjoyed on the outdoor terrace or on the green grass.

On the beach just north of the harbor, a mareograph was built in 1914, housed in a beautiful building. This mareograph, which measures sea levels, is unique as it is manually operated.
Nearby is Romelsön, with roots dating back to Viking times. The area also includes Halsön and Hamnskär, two excellent destinations for excursions.
