Photo exhibition at Skråmträsk Kvarn

Skråmträsk Kvarn - an organic café., Skellefteå

“Animals, but mostly birds” is Anders’ first exhibition of his own pictures, at least in this millennium. Just noises about noise, some of his better pictures, simply!

Anders Lindberg, during weekdays and weekends Organist in Skellefteå County Assembly, grew up 7 km outside Bygdsiljum in the small village Strandholm, beautifully situated along Stora Bygdeträsket. With 1 km to the nearest neighbours and the forest right around the corner, it was natural that nature with everything it has to offer became a big part of life.

In his late teens, Anders took a lot of photos with a couple of friends. They even formed “Club Canon” and had an exhibition in the parish hall in Burträsk. At that time, black and white and darkroom development were the order of the day, fun and creative! Then came a period of study, work, home and family when photography was basically at a standstill.

In 2021, in the aftermath of the covid pandemic when most things were sad anyway, Anders bought a camera again. This time a digital one. Since then, he has spent a lot of time out in nature, looking for suitable photo subjects.
