Christmas market

Experience the grand, traditional Skyltsöndag (Christmas Market Sunday) in Skellefteå! Along Nygatan and Guldtorget, the streets will be filled with Christmas spirit, market stalls, music, entertainment, and the chance to meet real reindeer and Santa himself. A wonderful Christmas market for the whole family!

Many shops in the city center will be open from 12 PM to 4 PM, so take the opportunity to stroll around and enjoy an Advent coffee at one of our cafés.

The pedestrian street and the square will be filled with market stalls offering handicrafts, food, baked goods, and much more.

 Program

12:00 – Skyltsöndagen opens and we warmly welcome everyone.

12:10 – Kvittra offers atmospheric music.

12:30 – Dancing around the Christmas tree.

13:00 – Music by Fanny Lundmark.

13:30 – Skellefteå Chamber Choir performs.

14:00 – Façade Dance, Sara Kulturhus. Experience the dance and ballet association’s performance. Best viewed from Guldtorget.

14:30 – Dancing around the Christmas tree, a second round for anyone who wants to join again.

15:00 – Skelleftebygdens Lucias perform traditional Lucia songs.

15:30 – Torch dance, a true classic.

16:00 – Closing and thank you for this year.

By the river
Bryggargatan’s outdoor area is filled with the scent of mulled wine, spruce branches, and fresh baked goods. A natural pause in the Christmas bustle.

Information for vendors
There are spaces available to book along the pedestrian street, free of charge, but you must bring your own table. Tables on the square cost 300 SEK. Note! All tables on the square are fully booked!
