The Gingerbread City – Creative workshop

On 30 November, the long-awaited gingerbread exhibition The Gingerbread City returns to Skellefteå Museum. Get into the Christmas spirit and bring the whole family to a creative workshop for all ages!

Join us for the opening of The Gingerbread City!
Take part in the exhibition and visit the creative workshop, where you’ll have the chance to make your own festive creations using different materials and techniques.

The Gingerbread City – A Whimsical Exhibition Built Together with Our Visitors
It’s been a few years since Skellefteå Museum first presented The Gingerbread City, and it has since become a much-loved and eagerly awaited tradition. The rules for building your gingerbread creations are simple – let your imagination set the limits!

In previous years, the exhibition has featured imaginative creations such as winter swimming, a hockey rink, and even The Burrow from Harry Potter!
What will you discover in The Gingerbread City this year? One thing’s certain – it will be a visit that delights all your senses. Picture yourself waltzing into Skellefteå’s most wonderfully scented exhibition, accompanied by the tunes of Winter Wonderland. Christmas spirit guaranteed!
