Unique Country Bakery was Founded in 1951 by Paul and Margareta Hermansson in Burvik, a village by the sea outside Skellefteå. Run today by daughter Ulla Katarina Hermansson in the same classic way.
Hermanssons Bakery is known for its signature bread; Burvikskakan, but also "star and pistachio buns" are popular pastries. We bake both coarse food bread, sweet buns, and butter crusts.
We have our bakery in Burvik open for pick-up of steaming fresh bread (see updated opening hours that are announced in the Facebook group). You can also often buy from us via the REKO ring in Skellefteå.
During the summer, we have both a café and bakery open, with many different activities. Many tables will be outside, and there is also the possibility to sit under a roof. Thrift shop, treasure hunt (winner of the day gets an ice cream of their choice), tips round (winner of the week gets a coffee worth SEK 100) and music performances (both live and recorded) during the summer. Keep an eye on our Facebook or Instagram so you don't miss anything.
A car will be out Wednesday-Friday with home baked goods, soft drinks and ice cream. The car stops at each location for about 30 minutes:

Every Saturday we are also at Bonnstan.
