Dance in the November Darkness - a dance marathon in 6 parts

Welcome to the Skellefteå Dance & Ballet Association's annual member performance at Nordanåteatern - a dance party in 6 parts!

The Dance in the November Darkness performances are structured as one-act plays without intermission and are a total of 6 unique performances. Before and after the performances there is the opportunity to buy coffee and Dance & Ballet merch.

Participating in the performances are the association's dance groups from 7 years of age and up, along with visiting dance groups from other cities.

The association's performances are the seed for the festival Dans i Novembermörkret , a festival that is arranged annually in Skellefteå. Here you can take part in several dance-related program items throughout November, such as performances, workshops, jams and dance mingles. - for everything and everyone.

PERFORMANCE LENGTH: approx. 1 hour (the performances are one act without an intermission)

It will be possible to purchase tickets for both the performances and the rehearsals*. In the first instance, as long as there is space, we encourage you to purchase tickets for the performances.

Participating dancers see the performance they are participating in during the rehearsal. Therefore, buy not a ticket for your dancing children and young people, this is due to the limited size of the audience room and a high demand for tickets. We urge you to check carefully when your dancing child is participating so that you buy a ticket for the correct performance.

*A dress rehearsal is a walk-through of the performance, with the reservation that there may be stops and walk-throughs. Dancers also sit in the audience lounge and go in and out before their participation on stage. The dress rehearsal starts 1 hour 30 minutes before the start of the performance. If you buy a ticket for the dress rehearsal, be ready in the foyer 10 minutes before and wait for admission.
