Meet the Radio Correspondents

Sveriges Radio's correspondents are there when it happens, where it happens. From our dispatchers around the world, you get lightning-fast news reporting, but also in-depth, analysis and background to what happened. Our hope is that it makes the world a little more understandable.

Sveriges Radio has the Nordic region's largest correspondent network. 19 correspondents around the world and about ten employees in Stockholm. One of our important tasks is to contribute to increased knowledge and understanding by depicting events that otherwise risk ending up in the media's shadow.

- For many years, Swedish Radio has prioritized foreign coverage. At a time when journalism and freedom of expression are under attack in more and more countries, it is of the utmost importance to be present. To understand the world better, both knowledge and presence are needed. With a wide network of correspondents, we are well placed to contribute to this.
