B&B Forest Homestay

Experience a unique and relaxing stay at a charming B&B with roots dating back to the 1800s, located in the heart of Holmsvattnet’s magnificent natural landscape. Stay by a lake with its own archipelago of at least 40 islands. By booking both rooms upstairs, you'll have the entire upper floor and the 9-meter-high tower all to yourself.

The spacious double room we rent out on the upper floor features a 180 cm bed, a large wardrobe, an armchair, and a selection of books – with a small lake view as the cherry on top.

The cozy bedroom in the tower is accessed via a ladder-style staircase from the shared living room one floor up. It has a 120 cm bed and offers a spectacular 360-degree view, including a glimpse of the lake.

Beneath the tower bedroom is the glassed-in veranda with the shared living room, equipped with a microwave, kitchenware, fridge, percolator/coffee maker, water kettle, smart TV and comfortable sofas with a table – perfect for relaxing.

Adjacent to the shared living room, there is a toilet and a separate shower room, which guests share.

Outdoors, you can enjoy a barbecue area and a wood-fired sauna.

For an extra treat, you can book a wood-fired hot tub.

In summer, you also have the option to rent a canoe or kayak and paddle out to one of the 40 islands – or why not head to our private island and rent the sauna there?

In winter, you can enjoy the sauna, walk on the frozen lake, or borrow a pair of forest skis and glide through the woods or top of the ice.

You can also book a massage with a certified massage therapist to make your stay even more relaxing.
