In the spring of 2023, Skellefteå Museum received approval to relocate our collection from the storage facility at Mullberget in Skellefteå. This was the museum's largest storage facility, housing the majority of the collection.
Since then, thousands of objects have been cleaned, photographed, and packed for transfer from the old facility to new, larger premises.
We are excited to share the story of how our collections have developed over time and to show you a selection of these objects. After all, they are also your objects—a part of our shared cultural heritage.
