Beginner’s Makeup Course

Over four sessions, we’ll go through different parts of a complete makeup routine. The course combines theory and hands-on practice, giving you plenty of time to try things out, ask questions, and find what works for you in your everyday life.

Session 1: The Foundation of It All – Skincare & Product Knowledge
We’ll start with the basics: how to care for your skin and prep it for makeup. We’ll go through different types of products and what they’re used for. You'll also get an overview of the course structure and have time for questions.

Session 2: Base Makeup 1 – Color Theory & Tools
You’ll learn how colors and shapes can be used to highlight your features. We’ll explore various tools and work hands-on with base products.

Session 3: Base Makeup 2 – Techniques & Practice
In this session, we’ll dive deeper into base makeup. You’ll get plenty of guided practice and personal support. Feel free to bring your own products – and come with a clean face.

Session 4: Sustainable Makeup – In Style and for the Planet
We’ll wrap up the course with tips on how to make your makeup last all day. We’ll also discuss sustainable choices and routines that are gentle on both your skin and the environment.

You don’t need to bring anything to the first session – just an open mind and a desire to learn!

Between sessions, you’re welcome to practice at home and bring your questions to the next meetup.

About the course leader:
Linn Lundholm, certified Master Makeup Artist from MIST Stockholm (2016). Since then, she has worked with makeup and hairstyling for photo shoots, TV, theater, corporate events, and private clients. She has experience with wedding and event makeup, and offers private lessons. Linn has lived and worked in Stockholm, Paris, and now Skellefteå.
