Forest Gardening – Grow Edibles Everywhere

Nordanåteatern, Skellefteå

NOTE! Lecture held in Swedish.

Skellefteå Garden Society, in collaboration with Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, invites you to a lecture with Philipp Weiss – certified permaculture designer, civil engineer, and speaker.

Philipp Weiss is the author of Perennial Vegetables: Discover, Grow, Enjoy (together with Annevi Sjöberg), The Forest Garden: Grow Edibles Everywhere, and The Nut Grower’s Handbook. He is a certified permaculture designer, civil engineer, and experienced lecturer. Together with Rebecka Törnqvist, he runs a forest garden blog and the Puttmyra Forest Garden Nursery.

In this lecture, Philipp will talk about forest gardening – a way of mimicking natural ecosystems to grow edible plants in multiple layers: trees, shrubs, and a ground layer of perennials, with a rich diversity of species both above and below the soil.
