AvalancheMQ Code Summit
The Wood Hotel by Elite, Skellefteå
Google and LavinMQ organize a northern Swedish hackathon in Skellefteå.
On June 3, Google, together with the locally rooted tech company LavinMQ, will host the LavinMQ Code Summit on the 4th floor of The Wood Hotel by Elite in Skellefteå. The event is Sweden’s largest hackathon and attracts both tech experts and creative coders from across the region.
Participants will have the opportunity to compete in three different challenges in the fields of gaming, AI, and IoT. The day concludes with an awards ceremony, and the goal is to create a valuable exchange where experiences from different areas of the tech industry can come together.
The Municipality of Skellefteå, RISE, Avassa, Th1ng, Skellefteå Science City, Tietoevry, and Telia are co-organizers and are backing one of the challenges.
To make participation easier, free transportation will be offered from Boden, Luleå, Piteå, and Umeå.
LavinMQ, developed by 84codes, is an open-source message queue specifically designed to be faster and more powerful than other message brokers. The company has a strong presence in northern Sweden, with over ten employees in the region.
