Storyteller's Walk: From Fågelmyren to a Modern Society in Boliden

NOTE! The tour is in Swedish!

We look at the 100-year-old community that started from scratch. The architects' dream, to avoid having to take into account buildings and streets that already exist. Here in 1925 there was nature, forest and berries and marsh but not a house. We look at what was done and why and talk about how it actually turned out. You will find out what unites Boliden with Versailles, how much gold there was in the ground and what a turbine intersection is. And more.

The guide is Tomas Marklund, who lived in Boliden throughout his teenage years and has had a summer home a few kilometers from the community for more than 35 years.
