This is an event during the Ursinnig festival, which takes place in Jörn from June 5-15. During the festival days, JESS – Jörns Järnvägsstation is transformed into a vibrant meeting place for art and creativity. Several artists exhibit their works and simultaneously offer their creations for sale. Take the chance to meet the artists behind the works, be inspired by their creations, and maybe find something unique to take home.
Participating artists and creators:
Miriam Nyström – Painting with an earthy feel
Miriam draws inspiration from the people around her and the beauty of nature. She paints primarily with acrylic, watercolor, and ink – often with a coffee cup nearby and soul or funk in the background.
"Painting is a world of possibilities for me. Exploring colors, shades, and playfulness has always been a central part of my life."
With a background in form & design, after watercolor courses and many years of her own creation, Miriam has taken the step to fully invest in art. Many of her early creations took shape in her grandmother and grandfather's basement in Jörn - a place where creativity has always had a place.
