Guided Story Walk – The Battle of Lejonströms Bridge in 1809
The Nordanå Park, Skellefteå
In this story walk, we explore one of the most memorable moments in the region’s history – the Battle of Lejonströms Bridge in 1809 (Note! In Swedish).
Jörgen Andersson, archivist at Skellefteå Museum, shares his knowledge and stories about the dramatic clash between Swedish and Russian forces, offering a deeper understanding of how the event shaped both our local area and Swedish history.
We will gather at Nyborg in Nordanå and walk together to Lejonströms Bridge, where you’ll gain a vivid insight into the events that helped shape our part of Sweden.
