Beyond the wide sea, there is somewhere a land

During the Second World War, many families and villages in our region welcomed Finnish refugees. After the war ended, some remained, while others returned home.

Museum educator Sandra Marklund draws on archival records, objects, photographs, and personal stories to tell about some who stayed – and others who made the journey back (Note, in Swedish).
