Traces of War – Memories Preserved in the Museum’s Collections

Welcome to a lecture in our local history exhibition Storsia, where archivist Jörgen Andersson highlights two objects from the Skellefteå Museum collections connected to the Second World War (Note! In Swedish).

At first glance, these items may appear ordinary, but they carry traces of a dramatic time in our history. Through them, Jörgen tells the story of how the war affected people here in Västerbotten. History comes to life through objects preserved from an era marked by anxiety and change.
