Inauguration of the park

Welcome to a full day of great food, stories, music, and community as we celebrate the opening of the new park and the arrival of summer at Westmans.

Location: Westmans, Bygdsiljum

Opening Ceremony
Lars Martinson will welcome guests, and Municipal Commissioner Lorents Burman will officially open the event.

Entertainment

• Tomas Andersson, storyteller and folk musician, will perform selections from his show "När vår herre gjorde Bygdsiljum och allt det andra".
• Kurt Westman will share stories about growing up at Westmans.
• The Umeå-based band Pacemakerz will play live music throughout the day and into the evening, until 9:00 PM.

Opening Package with Summer Buffet
Purchase an opening package in advance via Westmans by June 25 and get a reserved seat along with access to a generous buffet:

Summer Buffet: Potato salad, roast beef, alderwood smoked pork shoulder, chicken skewers, béarnaise sauce, honeydew melon, watermelon, cherry tomatoes, salad cheese, baguette, and Westman's ice cream.
Children’s Menu: Hamburger plate, soft drink, and ice cream.
Drinks: Soft drinks and mineral water are included, as well as coffee after the meal.

Price: Adults 400 SEK | Children 150 SEK

Entry Without Package
You are also welcome to attend without purchasing a package. Entry fee is 100 SEK, payable on site.
