Lönnebo weekend in Kusmark

Café Pärlan / The Garden of Prayer, Skellefteå

Welcome to Kusmark on the weekend of June 14–15, 2025, for a themed weekend focusing on the village's son, Martin Lönnebo!
The gathering hall at Kusmark Parish Hall will be given a new name, and there will be a film screening and panel discussion. The weekend concludes with a high mass in the church, followed by church coffee with cake and a plant market.

Martin Lönnebo was one of Sweden’s most influential theologians, and his work is recognized far beyond the country’s borders. Ecumenism and interfaith dialogue were close to his heart, and he gave Christian mysticism a clear and respected place within the Church of Sweden. He was also among the first to highlight our responsibility for creation — for nature, the environment, and the climate. Read more about Martin Lönnebo here.

Please note: All the events will be held in Swedish.
