In Stephen King's thriller Suffering , author Paul Sheldon fights for his life after a car accident.
He is held captive by his obsessed admirer, Annie Wilkes, who forces him to recreate his dead character.
Now Lida comes to life on stage in a new Swedish dramatization, with Samuel Fröler as Paul and Maria Kulle in the role of the frightening, charismatic Annie Wilkes.
Together with horror director Rikard Lekander, they create a performance that crawls under the skin and gives the audience a claustrophobic experience of power, obsession and fear.
