Midsummer celebration in Bonnstan/Skellefteå

Welcome to celebrate Midsummer with the Church of Sweden in Bonnstan.
Midsummer’s Eve, Friday, June 20, from 10:30 AM and all day long!

Program

Schedule:
10:30 AM — We decorate the maypole together. The refreshment stand opens.
12:00 PM — We raise the maypole. Followed by the traditional ring dance around the pole.
12:30–3:30 PM — The mini train is running.
12:45 PM — Gabriella Fahlman Andreasen talks about “Skellefteå 180 years.”
1:30 PM — Singing and music with Susanne Sundqvist Bergkvist.
2:00 PM — Summer speech by Susanne Pingi Avander, chairperson of the Skellefteå Sami Association.
2:30 PM — Ring dance around the maypole again.
3:00 PM — Summer service. Johan Holmgren, Elisabeth Hedblad, Nomi Åberg.

11:00 PM — Music in the Midsummer night at Landskyrkan.
