Organist Karin Nelson, originally from Boviken in Skellefteå and now a professor of organ in both Norway and Gothenburg, returns home for a special summer concert in Skellefteå on Thursday, July 10 at 7:00 PM.
The program includes music by Samuel Scheidt, J.S. Bach, Sofia Gubaidulina, Jón Nordal, and improvisations.
Karin Nelson is a native of Boviken and currently serves as Professor of Organ and Church Music at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, as well as Professor of Organ at the Academy of Music and Drama, University of Gothenburg.
