Public Education Day with lectures

Three lectures on drugs and addiction by: Sara Heine from the Narcotics Policy Center Ali Reunanen, co-founder of KRIS in Sweden Mathias Holmgren, former singer of Barbados.

The Adult Education Day on Addiction is an opportunity to deepen your knowledge through different perspectives on addiction and substance abuse. Take part in three lectures with three different angles on issues related to addiction connected to crime, social exclusion, and dependency; explore the exhibition “The Impact of Narcotics on Society and the Environment”; and access various relevant study materials. The day is free of charge and open to everyone!

The Adult Education Day is an opportunity for those working with, or interested in, issues concerning substance abuse, drugs, or preventive measures to expand their knowledge. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.

Sara Heine, Narcotics Policy Center, lectures on the products and marketing strategies used by today’s cannabis industry that young people encounter, and the risks, changes in norms, and challenges this entails.

Author Ali Reunanen shares his life story and the journey from addiction, crime, exclusion, and loneliness – to a dignified, drug-free, and honest life with goals and meaning.

Artist Mathias Holmgren speaks openly about the difficult years when the spotlight faded and alcohol abuse escalated, and about the turning point back to life. An inspiring lecture with humor, gravity, and self-leadership.
