Eleven artisans, craftsmen and textile artists from the group Fimbria interpret the theme of "the circle" – inspired by the words night black, winter white, composite and space. The result is a multifaceted embroidery exhibition that reflects both common frameworks and each participant's unique expression.
Fimbria works based on different themes that some group members develop.
This time, the starting point was to relate to a shape - the circle - and to be inspired by four words: night black, winter white, composite, and space. Everyone was also given a blue linen thread. The exhibition's embroideries are based on this.
Everyone is free to interpret the task in their own way. The result is multifaceted and expresses Fimbria's different personalities.

For this exhibition, we are collaborating with the Skelleftebygdens Berättarförening, which has taken the same theme and been inspired by the embroideries that have emerged. This has resulted in a Storytelling performance about the events of life.
