Author talk: Helena Lindegren

Trappscenen, Sara kulturhus, Skellefteå

Actress Helena Lindegren in conversation about her debut novel - "I strott sett mänsklig". A poignant novel about finally being forced to become an adult.

Helena Lindegren is an actress and comedian born in Åbyn Byske but now lives in Stockholm. In addition to film, TV and theatre, she is known from "På minuten" in P1, and "Stora Dialektshowen" which she has toured with together with Fredrik Lindström. Now she is making her book debut with I strott sett mänsklig, a gripping novel about growing up as a child and then doing it again as an adult. With sharp humor and merciless observation, she portrays a woman who should do better and a Västerbotten landscape that provides comfort and vertigo.
