Guided evening tour

Exhibition hall, Sara kulturhus, Skellefteå

Skellefteå Konsthall offers guided evening tours of the exhibition “Habitat” by artist Klara Kristalova.

A guided tour takes about 30 minutes, is free of charge, and requires no prior knowledge.

The exhibition Habitat, developed in collaboration with Skellefteå Konsthall, features both earlier and new works in various techniques – watercolor, ink and chalk drawings, as well as both monumental and small sculptures installed on islands built from natural elements from Västerbotten and Roslagen. The surrounding nature, especially the wild and untouched, is not always visible in Klara Kristalova’s visual world but forms an important part of it, where her distinctive figures take center stage.

Klara Kristalova, born in 1967 in Prague, lives and works outside Norrtälje. She studied at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm (1988–1993) and is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts. Kristalova established herself through several exhibitions and public commissions in Sweden before gaining international recognition in the early 2000s.

Please let us know in advance if you are a group of more than 10 people.
