250 years of Jewish life in Sweden

In 2025, the 250th anniversary of Jewish life in Sweden will be celebrated, and we will celebrate this in a conversation between actor Reuben Sallmander and Västerbottensteatern's dramaturg Tora von Platen.

Reuben Sallmander received great appreciation for the lead role Tevje in the summer theater production of Fiddler on the Roof in Medleforsparken 2024-2025 and now he is back in Skellefteå and the Storytelling Festival with "The True Music Project", a musical collaboration with Tania Naranjo and The True Music Orchestra, where Latin American and Jewish elements are mixed with classical music, as well as rock and pop influences.

The performance "The True Music Project" can be seen in its entirety on Thursday at 12:00, but already during this evening the conversation about Jewish life and culture will be interspersed with music and songs in Swedish, English, Spanish and Hebrew, with Tania Naranjo and The True Music Orchestra also on stage.
