Trouble. With bells on.
Things have really gotten out of hand for Katy – not that she cares. Else is going through an identity crisis. When you look at the world the way Katy and Clever Else do, life immediately becomes much more interesting. Maybe they are fools. Maybe they are onto something.
Chloe Bezer, cellist and singer/songwriter, is in charge of the music, and Alys Torrance will try to stop Katy, Else, four cheeses on a roll, a bunch of shady guys and a dachshund from completely losing control. The Brothers Grimm may have collected the fairy tales – but we're not sure they saw things quite the same way we do...
Join Chloe Bezer (singer, songwriter, cellist and disaster thinker) and Alys Torrance (storyteller, clown and panicked optimist) on a crazy, musical adventure with a big heart. With a bold leap into the Brothers Grimm fairy tale world, savages, folly and the world condition, Alys and Chloe intertwine self-written songs and stand-up storytelling to explore how we humans try to control the uncontrollable – when maybe we should just climb a tree.
Chloe performs her own songs and music (on her amplified cello) throughout the show – there is more than one way to tell a story.
Chloe and Alys live in South London and create their own solo shows as well as collaborating with other artists. Chloe most recently performed at the Greenwich Theatre with her one-woman show The Slow Songs Make Me Sad. Alys is one half of Story Jam, who tour London and around the UK with storytelling performances.
