Sara Lidman's return to Missenträsk.
The year is 1975. In the last days of July, Sara decides to move back home to the farm. In recent years, she had traveled around the country and given speeches. Agitation and debate. Against the US war in Vietnam. For the freedom of the Vietnamese people and the right to choose their own future. Her plan was to end the assignment with a book about Vietnam. But her grandfather's story caught up with her. She betrayed Vietnam. Instead, she began writing The Book of Västerbotten. The book that became the seven novels and 2000 pages of the Railway Epic.
Ellenor Lindgren, Anders Karlsson and Harald Larsen tell and read about the time before and immediately after returning home.
The program is a pre-program for the performance Järnkronan at 7:00 PM the same day by and with Jacob Hultcrantz Hansson.
