This year's festival theme, courage, encompasses many different experiences and when we share them, we open doors to understanding and strengthen bonds between people who would otherwise never have met.
Let the opening be your first glimpse into a festival program where each story provides strength, hope and community; A woman's escape from oppressive Iran and the life she encountered in Sweden, Västerbotten voices raised for an everyday life free from obstacles, experiences of living with norm-breaking functionality and wearing one's identity with pride and weaving one's traditions together with a new context.
