Popmania Through the Ages – Major Summer Hits from 1400 BCE to Today
This concert explores songs that have gained popularity throughout history, from the earliest written musical notes to today’s hit charts. Which tunes were groundbreaking and changed the course of music? Which songs were the ancient equivalent of today’s “Bada bastu”? Adam Wahlberg offers musical samples, sings, plays percussion, and shares juicy details about what we can imagine were the summer hits of their time.
Joining him on stage to give the evening its full artistic depth are virtuosos Nils Frändén (keyboard and fiddle) and Mikke Johansson (bass and string instruments).
Welcome to a popmanic evening with the old motto: “We have fun and learn new things.”
