Now we’re turning back the clocks to wintertime — a moment to slow down, prepare for stillness, and save our energy. We breathe, move gently through slow, mindful movements, and then settle into deeply restful restorative yoga poses as the sun slowly sets outside the windows.
✨ A chance to rest deeply.
✨ A chance to find stillness within.
✨ A chance to simply be — and do nothing.
Leave stress, worries, and your to-do list at the door. Step inside to take care of yourself and be cared for. Wrap yourself in blankets and cushions and start letting go. Rest. Come home to yourself again.
No previous experience is needed — what I have planned for the day suits almost everyone.
Location: Brunnsteatern, one floor up.
You’re welcome to unwind, find the weightless space between waking and sleep, lose track of time — and leave feeling rested and calm.
HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO DURING THE DAY:
- 13:20 – Set up your mat, blankets, and cushions.
- 13:30 – Meet the others and join the first yoga session with slow, nurturing movements to soften the body and help you unwind.
- 14:45 – Tea and snacks together.
- 15:15 – Deep rest with Restorative Yoga: several supported poses using bolsters and blankets to help you release tension and rest deeply.
- 16:30 – Wrap up the day, thank yourself and each other, and take home a sense of calm and balance.
The theme of the day is Loving Kindness — in connection with the shift to wintertime. Just as we turn back the clocks, we turn inward for the winter ahead — resting more and taking gentle care of ourselves. We store up energy and strength through both movement and rest.
Bring: A yoga mat, 2–4 blocks, a bolster or firm cushion, several blankets (ideally 5–6), and something to cover your eyes (for example, an eye pillow, scarf, or small towel).
We’ll begin our practice in daylight, and as we move and rest, the sun will set and the room will grow softly dim. I’ll light candles and hold space for you.
