Torchlight march against violence

The torchlight procession marks the start of A Week Free from Violence – an annual campaign with activities across the country to highlight violence prevention work and remind us that we can all contribute to a safer society.

Target group:
The whole community, young and adult.

Time and place:
Gathering at Sara Square (in front of Sara Cultural Center) at 16.15. The torchlight procession departs at 16.30. Ending with a speech at Guldtorget (will be contucted in Swedish).

Facts

A Week Free from Violence takes place in November every year, with the aim of highlighting the prevention of men's and boys' violence through campaigns and activities around the country. The week is an initiative of the Swedish organizations Unizon and MÄN and is supported by, among others, the Swedish Gender Equality Agency, the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR) and the county administrative boards.
