Knocking – Norrdans
Stage 2, Sara kulturhus, Skellefteå
Knocking
What do the stories living inside us sound like?
How can rhythm become a key to connection?
Knocking celebrates rhythm – not just as simple accompaniment, but as a language of its own. Rhythm is always present. It lives in the music, in our footsteps, in the room, in our breath. Rhythm is a feeling.
In this powerful and captivating work, the deep human connection to rhythm is explored, along with the force it carries to unite, communicate, and transform. The piece weaves together movement, sound, and storytelling into an experience that both moves and inspires. Knocking investigates rhythm’s universal language and its unique ability to bring us together, regardless of background.
