Policy for publishing events on visitskelleftea.se
Event tips submitted via the form must come from the organizer or in consultation with the organizer and/or the venue where the event will take place. This ensures that the organizer wishes for the event to be published on our website.
If your event meets the following criteria, we will publish it in the event calendar:
- The event must be of interest to residents and visitors.
- The event must take place within the municipality's borders.
- The event must be a public event, open to the general public.
- An event will only be published if it goes beyond "regular offerings or opening hours."
- The event must be described in detail.
The following will not be published:
- Event tips that may be perceived as offensive or those with racist or sexist messages.
- Advertisements or business opening hours.
- Religious and political events, such as church services or political meetings. (Exceptions: Concerts or open activities in the church are allowed. A public lecture with, for example, a member of parliament is also permitted.)
Copyright-protected images may not be used for event publication without permission from the copyright holder.
Approval and Publishing of Events
All events are reviewed by Visit Skellefteå and must be approved according to the above rules and criteria before being published. The review of submitted events takes place during our business hours. This may take a day, and if we have any questions, we will contact you.
Canceled Event
It is important that you contact info@visitskelleftea.se if your event is canceled!
Need Help?
Organizers submit their own events via the form. If you have a Basetool account, you should enter the event there instead of using the form. If you are unsure how Basetool works, you can watch an instructional video here (in swedish).
If you have forgotten your password for your Basetool account, you can reset it here.
If you need assistance, you can contact veronica.stahl@visitskelleftea.se
