Nanne The Best - The Music of Tina Turner

Now, finally, a tribute show to one of the absolute greatest female artists of all time - Tina Turner - with the songs that have meant the most. "The Best" is the name of Nanne Grönvall's tribute concert to the woman who early on inspired her to dare to pursue a career in music.

"The Best" is packed with Tina Turner's unforgettable hits and, at the same time, is a personal tribute to one of the greatest stars of our time. Tina's career spans over 60 years and includes some of the greatest soul and rock songs ever written. She is also one of the absolute biggest role models for today's female artists.

If anyone can be called Sweden's Tina Turner, it is rightfully Nanne Grönvall. To do justice to all of Tina Turner's hits requires the power and pressure in the voice that Nanne possesses. The fact that she also moves completely effortlessly on stage in sky-high pumps with stiletto heels is the icing on the cake.

– The idea of doing a tribute show to Tina Turner has been around for a long time. When Nanne had a gap in her schedule and had the opportunity to do this, together with us in the team behind it, we didn't hesitate to press the start button, says Peter Besterman, one of Sweden's most experienced tour and stage producers.

– I grew up with her music and was completely knocked out the first time I heard her voice and even more when I, as a child, saw Tina on TV. Her energy went right through the TV screen, and likewise when I, as an adult, saw her live for the first time. She has always been a great source of inspiration for me, both musically and artistically, with her love for music, vitality, and the audience, says Nanne Grönvall.


Tickets will be released on April 5th at 10:00 via sarakulturhus.se, ticketmaster.se, and Skellefteå Tourist Center.
