The home port of Bureå Boat Club, is located in the Bureå community at the mouth of the Bure River. It is well-protected from all winds and offers excellent service facilities such as a boat launch ramp, mast crane, sewage pump-out, waste sorting, electricity, water, showers, toilets, a sauna, washing machine, and loaner bicycles. The clubhouse can be rented for larger gatherings and parties.
The central village is just under 2 km away, where there are grocery stores, a gas station with a good range of accessories, restaurants, cafes, a swimming hall, bus stops, and more. There are several great excursion destinations in the area year-round.
