Viewing for babies based on Bea's magical world

Exhibition hall, Sara kulturhus, Skellefteå

Even small children can experience art, together with one of our educators who is responsible for the viewings for babies, we discover and explore with all our senses some sculptural works from Bea Szenfeld's magical exhibition Haute Papier.

Creativity is something we are born with and an important driving force for everyone's development. Babies are constantly exploring their surroundings with all their senses. With the help of touch, taste, smell and sight, one discovers, investigates, processes one's surroundings and leaves traces - What happened when I painted with my finger on the paper? A shape, a color became visible - an imprint of me!

In the exhibition hall at Sara kulturhus, we give a slow tour of some of Bea's works. In a pram or carrier, the child can get close to some works of art - sometimes reinforced with some effect.

In the workshop, the baby may only be in a diaper, the parent assists the child. We use edible paint in case the child puts it in the mouth. The child gets to explore different things shapes, imprints together with its parent.
