Welcome to this year's food experience in the heart of Skellefteå! Mandel's Food Market brings together North Sweden's leading producers under one roof - a place where you can discover, taste, and buy locally produced delicacies directly from those who created them.


This year we are extra proud that the market coincides with the Swedish Championship in Food Crafts, where some of Sweden's best craft products are awarded. This means that you will have the chance to both taste award-winning goodies and meet passionate producers who are passionate about sustainable and genuine food production.


You can look forward to this:

  • Local food and drink producers - from small-scale farms to established favorites.
  • Beverage fair - discover Northern breweries and distilleries.
  • Food court - three of The Wood Hotels´ restaurants will serve tastings, coffee, and lunch.

We promise a wonderful experience, the food market is more than just a place to shop, it's an experience to savour.

Directions

By train to Jörn or Bastuträsk
Take the train bus that connects to the arriving train (45/60 min transfer). Walk from Skellefteå Bus station.

By bus
Walk from Skellefteå bus station and follow the Södra railway road east. Turn down onto Torggatan where the hotel is located (5 min walk).

By car
Follow the E4 and turn off onto Kanalgatan. Turn left into Torggatan where the hotel is located. Hotel guests are permitted to drive up to the hotel for unloading and loading.

By air
Take the airport bus that connects to all arriving flights (20 min transfer). Walk from Skellefteå bus station, 30 m to the hotel.
