Sustainability Week in Skellefteå is an annual event that focuses on increasing awareness and commitment to sustainable development and environmental issues.
Throughout the week, a wide range of activities takes place across the municipality. The aim is to inspire and encourage sustainable choices and everyday behaviors, while also providing knowledge and tools to meet the environmental challenges of the future.
This year’s theme, “A Future for Everyone,” emphasizes creating inclusive environments and contexts that foster hope for the future – no matter who you are. It’s a week dedicated to making a real difference.
The week is built on co-creation, and everyone is welcome to contribute through activities and initiatives ranging from social justice to ecological responsibility. Together we can build a future where everyone has a place and the chance to make a difference.
