A Musical Stand-Up Lecture on Climate, Sustainability, and Consumption – by and with Staffan Lindberg

For those of you wondering why global warming keeps accelerating even though we’re sorting our recycling like crazy – and what we should actually be doing instead.

Musician and Karamelodikt Prize-winning entertainer Staffan Lindberg has been a committed carbon reducer since 2007. In collaboration with researchers in consumption, transportation, climate, and agriculture, he explored whether living sustainably is simply a matter of trying harder. Turns out – it’s not. His journey was documented in SVT’s first climate series “Vädrets makter” and later in the book “I Should Have Switched to a Low-Energy Bulb in the Hall – Confessions of a Carbon Dieter” (“Staffan Lindberg has done the world a service with his book” – Upsala Nya Tidning).

Since then, Staffan has toured Sweden with his educational and entertaining climate show, constantly updated and performed hundreds of times. He plans to keep going until we’ve cleaned up the atmosphere and detoxed the entire planet. With biting humor, he brings you down before lifting you right back up.
